Infringements

This report automatically extracts violations of driving time, rest period and working time rules from the downloaded data, classified by severity level, with an explanation of the applicable regulation.

Severity levels

Warning triangle icons next to each infringement indicate its severity (tapping the triangle also shows the level name):

IndicatorLevel
faint triangleNo specific fine — informational indicator (minor working time deviations and "mixed" cases), so you are aware of them.
1 triangleMinor infringement
2 trianglesSerious infringement
3 trianglesVery serious infringement
4 trianglesMost serious infringement

What does an infringement entry show?

Each entry consists of three blocks:

  • Infringement — the name of the rule violated; the info icon opens the relevant regulation explanation.
  • Period — when it occurred; the jump icon takes you to that point in the Activities list.
  • Details — the explanation and the measured value (for some exceedances a separate detail icon also appears).

What infringements does it detect?

Detected infringements are grouped into six areas — the same areas and types can be toggled individually in the filter:

AreaExamples
Driving timeweekly and fortnightly driving time, exceeding the 9/10-hour daily driving limit, the 4.5-hour continuous driving limit (in bus driver mode, the night driving limit).
Rest perioddaily rest too short or started too late (11 / 9 / 3+9 hours, multi-manning) and weekly rest too short (45 / 24 hours, compensation).
Working timethe 48/60-hour weekly working time, the 10-hour daily limit for night work, missing mandatory breaks.
Country codeentering the country code into the tachograph (at the start/end of a rest period, at border crossings).
Tachograph operatione.g. incorrect use of the mode switch, missing manual input.
Mixede.g. probable long rest taken in the vehicle, missing pre-departure vehicle check, "virtual journey".

Some cases (minor working time deviations and "mixed" types) do not carry a specific fine — these are shown with a faint triangle as informational indicators, so you are aware of them. Detection takes your settings into account (e.g. Bus driver mode, home country, night working time limit) — see Settings.

Filtering and export

  • Period: Last 7 day, Last 28 day, Last 56 day or Whole period (default is 56 days).
  • By severity: the triangle levels can be toggled individually.
  • By type: the Filter makes every infringement type in the six areas above individually toggleable (Select all / Deselect all).
  • Export: the report can be saved as PDF.

Drilling into an infringement's details lets you also see the activities and rest periods that caused the infringement during that period.
