Vehicle usage

This summary is built from data downloaded from the driver (tachograph) card and shows which vehicle you used, when and for how long — with odometer readings and distance travelled. For data downloaded from the tachograph, the counterpart of this view is the driver-based Vehicle use.

What do you see in an entry?

Each vehicle use entry is shown in two rows:

  • Top row: the vehicle's registration number, one or more person icons indicating whether you had driving and/or availability (co-driver) time on that vehicle, and — where GPS (GNSS) data is available — a map icon that opens the Map with the route when tapped.
  • Bottom row: the starting and ending odometer readings, and the distance travelled as the difference between them (km or miles, according to the setting).

Reliability. If an odometer value is missing or suspect (the tachograph flagged it as invalid), the app discards it and shows the distance in red.

Weekly and monthly summaries

Select Weekly summaries or Monthly summaries from the menu. Period headers and summary rows then appear, showing the driving time and distance travelled for the period. The sort order can be set in three ways from the menu (by period and day, in ascending/descending combinations).

Filtering and export

  • Use the filter at the top to narrow down to a specific vehicle (All vehicles is the default).
  • Export starts with the question What type of data would you like to export?: the odometer-based list in PDF or Excel format, or the raw GPS positions to Excel.
