Speeding

The tachograph detects every speeding event but does not store all of them. It only records the most serious infringement for each of a few designated periods (the past year, the last 10 days, the period since calibration).

The tachograph does not write speeding events to the driver (tachograph) card. They are only available by downloading the tachograph data.

What do you see for an event?

• the start time and the duration;
• the maximum and average speed;
• the number of similar events in the period;
• which card was in the tachograph;
• why the tachograph retained the event.
