First start
When you launch the app for the first time, you need to go through a few one-time steps.
1. Accepting the privacy policy
The app displays the privacy policy. You can continue by tapping the Accept button; if you decline, the app will not start.
2. Sign in with your Google account
Sign in with your Google account. If you have multiple accounts, choose the one you used to subscribe to the app. The subscription and trial period entitlement is linked to the Google account (email address) you provide, and the number of devices that can be used simultaneously is managed on this basis (see Subscription and devices).
3. Language
The app supports 27 languages and by default appears in the language of your device. You can change the language at any time later in Settings.
4. Home country
To correctly apply the rules on rest and driving times, we need to know which country you consider your home — where you habitually reside, where you return for your regular rest. Until this is set, the app will continuously remind you that it needs to be configured.
The main screen
After signing in, the four main function groups appear on the main screen:
| Function | What it does |
|---|---|
| Download driver card | Start downloading driver card data here. You can choose the download method (USB card reader or through a Bluetooth-capable tachograph). Depending on the selected method, the app guides you through the download steps. |
| Download tachograph | Start downloading tachograph data here. The app guides you through the download steps. |
| Archive | Open, analyse, and save previously downloaded data. Data is stored grouped by type. Backup and restore functions are also found here. |
| Settings | Customise how the app works. You can set the app language, the time zone used for reports, the method of calculating work time, the appearance of the user interface, and much more. |
Below the four main function groups on the main screen, messages may occasionally appear relating to your trial period or subscription.
